Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Some general mechanical experience preferred.
• Forklift license required for some tasks.
• Lock out certification.
• Attention to detail and safety-focused work ethic.
• Ability to read and interpret labels explaining usage and safety.
• Teamwork, face-to-face communication and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Machine care and basic maintenance of facility equipment and machines.
• Oil and grease braiders, winders, and related equipment; perform changes as needed.
• Operate degreaser and wash spools; identify and inspect carriers.
• Housekeeping of break rooms, rest rooms and grounds; trash collection and recycling.
• Assist with carrier repair and replacement as required.
