Job summary

Nixon Medical is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team in Texas. You’ll perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform emergency repairs to keep lines running.

You will read schematics, follow safety standards, and coordinate with supervisors to minimize downtime while maintaining stock and documenting maintenance activities in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years mechanical maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read building and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial/production machinery.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and production machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform emergency repairs.
• Operate and maintain machinery following manuals and specifications.
• Notify supervisor of needed repairs and maintenance concerns.
• Control downtime by communicating routine maintenance to production staff.
• Maintain inventories by checking stock and expediting orders.
• Monitor signs of malfunction and perform troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly and schedule routine maintenance.
