Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, install and support pump systems, and uphold safety standards. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to read diagrams.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with pumps, boilers, compressors, and a commitment to safety procedures and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience on production/plant equipment.
• Experience with pump troubleshooting, rebuilding, repair, and replacement, including various pump types.
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures and creating new PMs.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Welding, cutting, fitting and fabrication skills.
• Knowledge of steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, air compressors, and controls.
• Familiarity with safety procedures including LOTO, confined space, and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs.
• Install, disassemble, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, fans, and rotating equipment.
• Perform equipment alignment and preventative maintenance planning.
• Participate in plant expansion, relocations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Fabricate and repair structural steel components and machine guards.
• Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams; weld as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS work orders.
