Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an entry to mid-level maintenance technician to keep our plant equipment running efficiently in Bellwood, Illinois. You will perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, identify parts, and support the department as needed by leadership.

Responsibilities include following 5S standards, updating CMMS records, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

Formación

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Associates degree with technical focus or 18 months related experience or completion of ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems; able to perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Performs entry to mid-level break-fix and preventive maintenance to sustain and improve operations.
• Identifies needed parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Provides support and back up for other department members as needed by leadership.
• Is aware of Maintenance Industry Standards.
• Ensures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participates in CI activities—processes, results and cost savings.
• Sets up and operates simple machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) to make/repair parts; basic welding tasks may be required.
• Updates CMMS records and reviews history.
• Performs basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
• Completes technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follows safety policies and guidelines; maintains situational awareness of unsafe conditions.
