Job summary

KPIC Maintenance Services Inc., part of the FWS Group, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for North Dakota sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical systems used in grain handling, feed mills, and related facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, technical skill, and teamwork. You will read drawings, use welding and fabrication methods, operate hoisting and rigging gear, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality workmanship across

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills and safety focus.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with welding principles and safe equipment operation.
• Comfort with hoisting, rigging, and control of mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of industrial drives, shafts, bearings, and lubrication preferred.
• Residency in or near North Dakota; capable of travel to sites.
• Willingness to work in varying climates and field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations per specs.
• Inspect mechanical equipment and troubleshoot faults; document work.
• Handle tools, equipment, and materials; manage daily paperwork.
• Lead and mentor junior workers; supervise labor and resources as needed.
• Complete tasks on time and support field projects for grain, feed, and forestry sites.
