Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a facilities technician to oversee, maintain and repair equipment in a warehouse environment. You will troubleshoot lift and conveyor systems, address electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and buildings.

Ideal candidates have a trade school degree or equivalent, at least 1 year of related experience, and comfort working with general engine parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: trade school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience preferred.
• Experience working on conveyor systems preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment and conveyor systems, addressing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues; understands conveyor logic.
• Performs preventative maintenance and modifications on lift equipment, conveyors and buildings.
• Provides equipment status reports detailing maintenance problems.
