Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee, maintain, and repair equipment in a large warehouse environment. You will troubleshoot electric lift equipment, conveyors, and related mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems while performing preventative maintenance.

The role requires a trade school degree or equivalent, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and a flexible schedule that may include weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Trade school degree or equivalent required (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of work experience preferred.
• Experience with conveyor systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• 50% Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues; understands conveyor operating system logic.
• 20% Performs preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on equipment and buildings.
• 10% Provides equipment status reports including unusual maintenance problems.
• 10% Follows safety guidelines per manufacturer, Home Depot, and government agencies; adheres to OSHA standards.
• 10% Maintains a safe, clean work area with daily cleanups.
