Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational trade school or 2–4 years equivalent professional experience in mechanical or electrical trade.
• Requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of shop tools; ability to write reports with proper grammar.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems per specifications using hand tools, power tools, hoists and cranes.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment using test equipment.
• Dismantles defective machines, installs new or repaired parts per specifications and OEM manuals.
• Performs preventive maintenance and daily lubrication ahead of production.
• Follows work orders and maintenance requests; adheres to GMPs, safety and USDA/FDA rules.
