Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems.

This role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical and mechanical skills, ability to read blueprints, and comfort with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office; travel within production areas may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and SAP ERP systems.
• Ability to travel throughout production areas and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, piping, electrical systems, and facility structures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drills, hoists, cranes, and testing equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair equipment to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired components per OEM specs.
• Repair and replace gauges, valves, piping, and related system components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Lubricate machinery and support changeovers as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders and respond to repair requests promptly.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs.
• Follow GMPs, food safety, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, USDA, and FDA requirements.
