Custom Filters Direct in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician on first shift to support manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, repair production machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with operating automated equipment as needed.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety. We offer competitive hourly pay, weekly pay, and a $50 attendance bonus, with benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs safely.
• Experience with automated production or manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and facility systems is preferred.
• Able to work independently, prioritize repairs, and respond to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery when breakdowns occur.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Operate and support automated air-filter manufacturing equipment, including pleaters and Jewett machines.
• Complete mechanical adjustments, equipment changeovers, and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all company safety requirements.
