Job summary

Valley View Milling L.L.C. in Kansas seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across the feed mill, grain operations, and truck shop. You will help keep equipment safe and running, weld/fabricate as needed, and maintain a clean, organized shop while following all safety policies.

Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a high school diploma are required; technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in maintenance is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on feed mill, grain handling, and truck shop equipment.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, augers, motors, bearings, and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist with truck, trailer, and fleet maintenance.
• Weld, cut, fabricate, and repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean shop and report issues to management.
• Document completed maintenance and inspections.
