Job summary

Horizons Incorporated in Cleveland, OH is seeking a maintenance technician to perform machine troubleshooting and maintenance on capital equipment, and to support process and facility systems.

You will diagnose issues, follow procedures, and participate in installation and preventive tasks, with safety and quality in mind. The role requires 5–10 years in industrial manufacturing and hands-on skills in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and plumbing systems. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong trouble shooting capabilities.
• Minimum of 5-10 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Able to read equipment instruction manuals including wiring diagrams
• Understanding of industrial electrical wiring and controls
• Experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Competency in welding and machining are a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process problems as they arise.
• Follow up on progress and communicate results to management and internal staff.
• Assist in moving and installation of equipment and related services.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as part of facility upkeep.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols in all tasks.
