Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment. This role operates on the warehouse floor, enabling hands-on work with mechanical systems and facilities services.

You will establish maintenance frequencies, monitor equipment conditions, keep accurate records, and coordinate with contractors. A technical degree or certificate and 3–5 years in industrial maintenance are expected, along with

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.
• 3-5 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and perform timely repairs.
• Establish maintenance frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance.
• Perform facility maintenance and minor repairs, keeping area clean and safe.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired units.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate and recommend on work-related contracts and services.
• Supervise outside contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Support health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives.
• Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Meet TKMNA employee attributes and competencies.
