Job summary

Independent Stave Company is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair industrial machinery, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure equipment safety and efficiency. The role requires experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication, and adherence to standard procedures for safety and performance.

The technician will log maintenance activities, support process improvements, and contribute to a safe, collaborative work

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, welding and fabrication.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment (mechanical and electrical) to prevent downtime and costly repairs.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate the source of problems by examining the equipment.
Assist in line changes and process improvements.
Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids as needed, modify equipment as necessary, and replace parts and components as required.
Maintain records of all maintenance activities.
