Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, seeks a maintenance technician to inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and systems in a manufacturing facility in Oregon. You will help minimize downtime, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma (technical training preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, and ability to work with mechanical and electrical systems, use common diagnostic tools, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience.
• Follow safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; Wrench, screwdriver, impact tools.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and testing components.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; work around dust and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure proper function.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform repairs or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with both electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate work.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Generate and close work orders in operating systems.
• May be on-call; ensure regular attendance and scheduling flexibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
