Job summary

Aero Gear is seeking a Factory Maintenance Technician in Windsor, CT to diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on our facilities-related equipment in a manufacturing setting.

You will manage unplanned maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety while delivering timely results. The role requires 3+ years in factory maintenance, with electrical experience and preferred HVAC and machining exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of factory maintenance experience.
• Electrical field experience required.
• HVAC experience a plus.
• Heat Treat Systems experience a plus.
• Manual or CNC machining experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical certificate is a plus, but experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on factory facilities equipment.
• Schedule outside services and/or preventive maintenance.
• Manage unplanned facilities and machine repair requests.
• Repair or replace facilities equipment and machine parts as needed.
• Operate with safety and urgency; maintain compliance with policies.
• Communicate effectively with management, employees and vendors.
• Independently drive completion of time-sensitive tasks.
