Job summary

Actylis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Grand Island, NY site to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facilities. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical panels, fire protection systems, and emergency lighting; supporting pumps, valves, and instrumentation; and documenting all

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or trade certification preferred (Millwright, Electrician, Industrial Mechanic).
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficient with tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software (CMMS).
• Understanding of safety standards (Lockout/Tagout, WHMIS, OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, wiring, fire protection, and emergency lighting.
• Support process equipment such as pumps, valves, and instrumentation devices.
• Conduct regular inspections of safety-critical systems and emergency eyewash stations.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
• Assist in equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams on improvements.
