Job summary
Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives on extrusion lines and downstream equipment.
The role requires 3+ years of plant maintenance, ability to read schematics, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting 480V three-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting preferred (Allen-Bradley/Siemens).
- Welding, fabrication, and machine shop experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems up to 480V three-phase.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Maintain extrusion and downstream equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, VFDs.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance.
- Maintain maintenance records in CMMS.
