Job summary

Brayman Construction Corporation & Affiliates in Saxonburg, PA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Machine & Facilities Maintenance team. This hands-on role supports the day-to-day operation and upkeep of our manufacturing and service facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems, repair equipment, perform building maintenance, and keep the facility running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, facilities maintenance, or related skilled trade.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• General mechanical and building maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Ability to read service information and use electronic diagnostic tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Dependable and able to work with limited supervision.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Indoor/outdoor work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Complete mechanical repairs and routine equipment maintenance.
• Operate facility and shop equipment safely and responsibly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery operating reliably.
• Maintain equipment located throughout company facilities and grounds.
• Handle general facility repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Assist with building maintenance projects, including painting, staining, drywall patching.
• Identify maintenance issues and determine repair solutions.
• Use computers, smartphones, and diagnostic resources to research equipment and service information.
• Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and time entries.
• Work independently and with other maintenance team members.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
