Job summary

Openwork, on behalf of its client, seeks an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the Pasadena facility's engineering and maintenance team. This direct-hire, day-shift role operates in a safety-critical environment and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will perform mechanical maintenance on plant equipment, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics; assist in PM programs; and coordinate with the PM crew to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in process equipment maintenance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, isometrics, schematics, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, adjust, or replace machinery and heavy plant equipment.
• Maintain bearings, conveyors, rotary valves, lubrication, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
