Job summary

Harco Fittings in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within our manufacturing facility. The role includes some fabrication and welding, with a commitment to safety and uptime.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, strong problem-solving skills, and at least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance, and must be able to work 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm with occasional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing low voltage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming, motor controls, and variable frequency drives a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems effectively.
• Install, modify, and upgrade industrial equipment according to manufacturer specs and standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of repairs and services.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisor and production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests to maintain up times.
