Job summary

Calcium Products LLC in Blair, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift (5am-5pm, or possibly 7am-5pm). You will execute preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned equipment and lead repairs during unplanned plant breakdowns.

Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in heavy industrial maintenance; familiarity with blueprints and PM routines is preferred. Training will be provided as part of our safety-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics and PM routines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communicator and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety practices and procedures.
• Provide detailed statuses of completed or ongoing repairs and maintenance.
• Assist contractors with repair instructions, PM docs, and parts.
• Assist maintenance supervisor in auditing contractors' work.
• Perform predictive maintenance using thermographic camera and ultrasonic tester.
• Keep work areas clean and organized after PMs and repairs.
