Job summary

Morgan Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair building and mechanical equipment in an industrial laundry setting. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires onsite work in Indianapolis, IN on 1st or 2nd shift with potential weekend hours. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work autonomously, and capable of passing a background check and drug

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of maintenance technician experience; must provide own tools.
Onsite work in Indianapolis, IN; 1st or 2nd shift; some weekends.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; ability to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintaining equipment (motors, conveyor system, HVAC, compressors, production machinery).
Performing general building electrical and plumbing maintenance.
Completing Machinery & Building Maintenance Logs.
Communicating detailed progress on projects in progress.
Inspecting, assessing functionality, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery.
Surveying buildings to ensure they meet health/safety standards.
Installation or adjustments of mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Conducting general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
