Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a mechanic responsible for the maintenance of compressors, pumps, fans, and related mechanical equipment in the designated area. You will perform daily maintenance, assist during overhauls, maintain meticulous records, and ensure compliance with DEQ requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing, adjusting, and repairing gas compressor engines and plant equipment.
• Knowledge of compressor stations, gathering systems and processing plant operations.
• Safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids and high-pressure systems.
• Valid state operating license and driving record meeting insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and routine maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
• Assist during overhaul of compressors, engines, and pumps.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date maintenance records.
• Ensure equipment remains in good running order to meet DEQ requirements.
• Report non-compliant equipment to supervisor.
• Maintain, adjust, and operate equipment; support preventive maintenance program.
• Minimize maintenance costs while maximizing runtime and throughput.
• Complete documentation for all maintenance activities performed.
• Respond to after-hours callouts in a timely manner.
• Follow company policies, practices and regulatory requirements.
