Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a field mechanic responsible for the maintenance of compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment in designated area. The role involves daily maintenance, participation in overhaul projects, and diligent documentation to comply with DEQ requirements.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with gas compressor engines and equipment, knowledge of station operations, and a valid driver’s license. Occasional overtime and outdoor work are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining gas compressor engines and related equipment.
• Knowledge of compressor stations and processing plant operations.
• Safe handling of flammable gases and high-pressure systems.
• Valid state driving license with insurability.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and routine maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
• Assist during overhaul of compressors, engines, and pumps.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance performed.
• Ensure equipment is in good running order to stay in compliance with DEQ requirements.
• Report non-compliant equipment to supervisor.
• Maintain general upkeep of all facilities and equipment.
