Job summary

Top Gun Staffing, Inc. seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment and automated systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Milwaukee, WI.

The role covers diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining CNC equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, VFDs, and other automated systems to maximize reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems from low voltage through 480V.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC-based production equipment and automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, motors, and rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Support FANUC robotic cells, including safety circuits, sensors, controls, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and machine documentation.
• Use precision measuring equipment, gauges, meters, and hand tools.
• Assist with equipment installations, commissioning, and upgrades.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
