Job summary

Weiler Inc. in Knoxville, IA seeks a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair site equipment, utilities and infrastructure, including CNC machinery, hydraulic and electrical systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with service personnel for complex repairs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, plus 2 years of electrical work with 480V 3-phase.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on site equipment and machinery.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure and infrastructure of establishment.
• Responds to service requests for equipment and system.
• Install, relocate, dismantle and repair machines, hoist/crane systems and related parts.
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and coordinate repairs with service personnel.
• Perform maintenance and calibration on cutting equipment (lasers, plasma).
• Install and repair electrical apparatus and wiring.
• Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and hydraulics/pneumatics; service gauges and valves.
• Operate tools such as lifting systems, cutting torches and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals; follow safety guidelines.
