Job summary

Donaldson in Missouri is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support production equipment and facilities. You will weld, read blueprints, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep operations running smoothly.

You will use shop tools, install equipment, and plan projects with minimal supervision, while adhering to safety standards and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• A combination of education and experience, generally a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of trade school or qualified work experience.
• Ability to use and understand electrical test equipment.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and a customer comes 1st attitude.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to minimize equipment downtime.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Good computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Excel, Outlook).
• Self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent work habits.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Continue education as it applies to technical job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Arc and gas welding, cutting, brazing, silver and soft soldering.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping) for machines and buildings.
• Troubleshoot electrical A/C and D/C circuits using electrical metering equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
• Use basic shop tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, grinders, etc.
• Install and relocate equipment.
• Plan, implement, and finalize assigned projects with minimal supervision.
