Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician in Albuquerque to repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers. The position focuses on preventive maintenance, welding, boiler testing, and keeping maintenance records.

In-plant work requires strong mechanical/electrical knowledge; training is provided for boiler, electrical, pneumatic, schematics, welding, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.
• Mission provides additional training in steam boiler, electrical, pneumatic, schematics, maintenance, welding, and plumbing for candidates who need it.

Responsibilities

• Routine preventive maintenance on the property to ensure plant machines continue to run smoothly
• Morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment, including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves
• Regular maintenance of lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels
• Completes general and basic repairs on the machinery
• Follows the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and documents the process
• Identifies and reports all other major repairs that need to be completed on the machinery
