Qualifications

Requires high school diploma and 2+ years maintenance experience.
Knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading schematics.
In-house training for steam boiler/electrical/welding provided if needed.
Must be able to stand, move through plant, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment to keep machines running smoothly.
Handle start-up and shutdown of boiler, air compressor, pumps, and valves.
Maintain lint traps, shaker screens, oil levels, and other components.
Carry out general repairs and document maintenance per schedules.
Identify repairs and report major issues.
