Waste Management is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing systems, performing preventive maintenance, and working in a hands-on environment. The position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package to support you and your family.
$3,000 Sign on Bonus
M-F2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm
Pay:$28.00 with shift differential $1.00
Preferred candidate will have 2 years’ experience with:
Commercial/Industrial Maintenance preferred
Basic electrical troubleshooting
Hydraulic knowledge preferred.
Conveyor and baler repair
Welding Fabrication a plus
Diesel Truck and Trailer repair bonus
1 year Forklift Experience

Job Summary
The Plant Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment. Including but not limited to balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts and bearings. This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action by completing or assigning the repairs needed to ensure that systems are operational and are functioning safely and efficiently. This position generally reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager.
