Job summary

Suterra in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain industrial manufacturing machinery. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and problem solving to keep production running smoothly.

You'll work with health and safety, engineering, and operations, participate in kaizen teams, and support vendors. The position is full-time, on-site at our Bend facility.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in an industrial machinery-related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an industrial plant setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Good time-management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software desired; SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure uptime and reliability of equipment.
• Dismantle and reassemble machines with precision and safety.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Identify and implement equipment/process improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for maintenance tasks.
