Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our Waukesha, WI facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. You will follow GMP, SQF, and safety standards while using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Onsite, third shift, with growth opportunities and training. Applicants should have 5–10 years of journey-level experience in industrial maintenance and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years in journey-level electrical/mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance when not on emergency tasks.
• Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic skills to repair equipment.
• Fabricate simple parts using shop tools (lathe, drill press).
• Follow GMP, safety procedures and SQF requirements; participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement.
