Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep production and facilities equipment running at design efficiency. This on-site role covers installation, service, and repair of plant systems, with an emphasis on safety, reading mechanical and electrical drawings, and performing PMs.

Overtime and weekend work may be required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus electrical/maintenance training or 4 years of field experience, and proficiency with basic software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Electrical or Maintenance trade school certificate preferred, or 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Able to work safely, follow LOTO procedures and other safety protocols.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment, assist in PMs and documentation.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Operate maintenance shop tools, electrical meters, forklift, scissor lift and related equipment.
• Plan and organize daily work and plant shutdowns as needed.
• Ensure good housekeeping across plant and shop.
