Job summary

PLP is seeking a skilled industrial maintenance professional to inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery across our Albemarle facility. You will perform preventive maintenance and document activities, build and repair structures and equipment from drawings, and work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The role requires a formal industrial maintenance credential and a willingness to work third shift, with a $1/hr differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance certificate, diploma, or equivalent training.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints/working drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspects machinery to detect malfunctions and discusses issues with supervisors.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and records data.
• Builds, fabricates, repairs structures and equipment from drawings.
• Tests/replaces electrical components under lockout/tagout.
• Assembles and maintains pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Repairs and maintains building structure.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
