Preformed-Line-Products in Albemarle, NC is seeking a 1st Shift - Preventative Maintenance Technician LG8 to perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery, repair or replace defective parts, and maintain equipment to high safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include recording maintenance data, inspecting racks, and performing building and grounds tasks. Must be willing to work 3rd shift; 2nd/3rd shifts receive a $1/hr differential.

Qualifications

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery to keep operations running smoothly.
• Record maintenance data and required reports accurately.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.

Responsabilités

• Utilize basic hand tools, power tools and shop equipment for repairs with assistance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and document job time and data.
• Inspect pallet racks, perform building/grounds maintenance, and clean/paint as required.
• Install guards, signs and assist with electrical components under lockout/tagout.
• Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, gears and bearings.
• Support facility maintenance including HVAC-related tasks.
• Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hoists and power tools.

Salary Range: $22.78 To $27.93 Hourly

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly; build systems to operate efficiently and the physical condition of build does not deteriorate; Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools; responsible for equipment reassembly.

JOB DUTIES:

• 1) Utilize basic hand tools, power tools, and general shop equipment to perform equipment repairs as best indicated with assistance when required.
• 2) Performs preventive maintenance on machinery/equipment as required. Record equipment maintenance data, job time, and prepare other basic information and reports as required.
• 3) Pallet racks inspection and repair. Building and grounds maintenance / clean / paint.
• 4) Install guard railing / Hang signs / other
• 5) Tests/Replaces electrical components under lockout/tagout requirements.
• 6) Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• 7) Facility maintenance, HVAC roof top filters / coil cleaning. Window units filters / coil cleaning
• 8) Bends, cuts and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
• 9) Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
• 10) Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• 11) Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

Must be willing to work 3rd shift. A nyone who works 2 nd or 3 rd shift will receive an additional $1/hr. shift differential
