Responsibilities

• Must have significant experience in operating production machines
• Diagnose or troubleshoot machines or equipment to determine malfunction and need for adjustment or repair
• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
• Hold a journeyman machine repair card or the equivalent of 3–5 years direct machine maintenance experience

Job Requirements

• Manufacturing and technology classes preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years practical hands‑on experience in an industrial setting
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and indicators
• Lubricate and clean parts, install, move, set up, and operate all types of equipment and machine tools
• Good mathematical skills
• Deep understanding of high‑speed presses and safety protocols
• Experience with high‑pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Read and interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment and interpret manuals and industrial standards
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts and a rotating schedule
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug test, and background check

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently climb or balance and talk or hear
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
