Crown Holdings, Inc. is hiring an Electrician / General Plant Maintenance Technician for our Dayton, OH facility. This role covers preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Production to meet daily targets. Shifts are 12 hours with rotating schedules and a strong benefits package.

Starting pay is $42.67 per hour with a comprehensive set of health, vacation, and 401(k) benefits. Eligibility for a 100% company-paid health plan and a 6% 401(k) match is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technology/industrial/manufacturing preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, vision systems, and automation.

Responsabilités

We have one opening for an Electrician/General Plant Maintenance Technician at our Dayton, OH facility—supporting a team that produces millions of beverage can ends per day. You’ll keep equipment running safely, troubleshoot issues fast, and partner with Production to hit daily targets.

• Troubleshoots equipment stoppages and reacts accordingly
• Participates in routine preventative/predictable maintenance and performs routine checks
• Assists manufacturing during product changeovers
• Utilizes various mechanical and electrical test equipment
• Monitors and reacts in a timely manner to routine demand maintenance requirements
  

Job Requirements

• Associates degree in a technology/industrial/ manufacturing preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting
• Working knowledge with Allen Bradley PLC's, Vision and other complex automation systems. Robotics is a plus.
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, components and safety protocols
• Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling, utilizing 480V, VFD's and PLC control logic troubleshooting
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Able to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment. Interpret manuals and industrial standards. (Electrical Code and OSHA regulations)
• Light machining and welding skills. Light fabrication skills.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check.

• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
