Zusammenfassung

tesa is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift to keep our adhesive production lines running smoothly. You’ll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support production efficiency while training on 1st shift for 3–6 months prior to the switch.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, can read blueprints and diagrams, fabricates with basic shop tools, and works with operators to improve plant safety, quality and performance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; secondary education in a skilled trades curriculum preferred.
• 5+ years experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blue prints, wiring diagrams and pneumatic diagrams.
• Ability to fabricate using: saws, drills, mills, lathes and welding equipment.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical control systems.
• Strong customer service and ability to work with a team.
• Ability to use computers, tablets and Microsoft products.
• Ability to log in to Allen Bradley PLCs with Studio 5000 software to troubleshoot preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Aufgaben

• Repair and maintain adhesive preparation, coating and converting equipment.
• Responding to machine breakdown calls and repair using mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Executing preventative maintenance plans.
• Completing work order requests for improvements and non-breakdown repairs.
• Build relationships with operators and other plant staff to improve plant safety, quality and performance.
• Complete work order requests for improvements and non-breakdown repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
