Role Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for planning, completing, and following up on preventive maintenance of physical plants and equipment. This role also performs emergency repairs on machinery and buildings as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Enjoys repairing a variety of equipment
• Comfortable with rapidly changing priorities

Responsibilities:

• Maintain various production equipment, including grinders and tape machines
• Rebuild, maintain, or repair shop equipment
• Complete HVAC, forklift, and related projects in the absence of service agreements
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for repairs, revisions, and modifications
• Manage inventory and coordinate with purchasing for parts
• Operate and maintain chilled water, compressed air, and vacuum systems
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance
• Ensure work areas and equipment are safe, clean, and orderly
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules
• Perform other duties, projects, or tasks as assigned

Shift Details:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM. Training on 1st shift is required for up to 2 months to ensure readiness for the role.
