Job summary
Champion Personnel is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire role in Willoughby Hills, OH. The position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to keep conveyors, bagging, grading, and vacuum packaging equipment running.
You will diagnose problems, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery, with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift and full benefits. Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and electrical troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Repair mechanical and electrical components and test after repairs.
- Assist with parts inventory and basic facility maintenance as needed.
