Position Overview

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on plant equipment and machinery, ensuring safety, legality, and quality standards are met. The role requires demonstrating competency in all on-the-job activities that impact product safety and quality.

Pay rate starts at $25.90 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Position Responsibilities

1. Performs preventive maintenance tasks.
2. Conducts scheduled maintenance on equipment and machinery.
3. Responds to and repairs equipment stoppages and breakdowns, troubleshooting as needed.
4. Operates machine shop equipment and fabricates parts when necessary.
5. Maintains cleanliness of work areas.
6. Adheres to all company policies and procedures, including safety and compliance standards.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, or formal training in related fields such as Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding; Electronics; Electrical repairs; Industrial Equipment installations; alignment; start-up repairs, etc.

Job Requirements

Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent formal training and work experience.
