Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Class A technician in Texas to install and maintain production machines on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role includes emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and wiring control systems, with training on 1st shift for the first weeks.

Qualified candidates should have at least three years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be able to bring their own tools.

Qualifications

• Three years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must demonstrate Class B qualifications.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Own tools and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and drives.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
