Job summary

Materion Corporation in Reading, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial machinery, equipment, utilities and facilities. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years applicable work experience or an equivalent combination of industrial maintenance experience and education.
• HP.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic pipefitting, welding, painting and plumbing tasks.
• Perform basic electrical functions (including: run conduit, 3-phase motor hook, electrical connections).
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, sketches, instruction manuals and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate steel and sheet metal projects.
• Requisition materials in accordance with purchasing guidelines.
