Job summary

Nylene Canada Inc. in Henderson, KY is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician to service and maintain facility equipment including loading docks and HVAC systems.

You will diagnose malfunctions, repair or modify equipment, and perform preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. Work independently with minimal supervision, use hand and power tools, and follow OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic electrical experience; able to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment as problems occur.
• Perform maintenance on facility equipment including loading docks and HVAC systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Repair or modify equipment as needed.
• Work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Basic electrical experience.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
• Comply with all company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment while staying motivated during slower shifts.
• Complete all job tasks assigned by supervisors and management.
• Work schedule is subject to change on short notice.
• Must be able to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (6:00 AM–6:00 PM / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM) or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as assigned.
