Job summary

Manna Beverages in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to install, maintain and repair machinery, pipes, and electrical/hydraulic systems in a fast-paced plant. Shift options include 2/2/3 with 6am–6:30pm or 6pm–6:30am schedules; English required, Spanish a plus.

Qualified candidates will perform safety procedures, belt/gear repairs, welding, and preventive maintenance while coordinating with senior technicians and planners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training required.
• Upholds mental, spiritual and physical safety; works well in a team and communicates professionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and work safely at all times.
• Perform basic metal fabrication using hand tools, lathe and end mill.
• Repair bearings, belt sprockets, chains and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when necessary.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Lead mechanical projects and assist senior technicians.
