Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician in Plymouth, MI to support production and facility operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The position offers a 1st shift schedule, overtime opportunities, and a stable manufacturing environment to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
