Job summary

Pennsylvania Ag Connection is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to diagnose and repair production equipment in a USDA-regulated facility. You will handle mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The role requires following safety procedures, operating in both production and sanitation shifts, and maintaining equipment with approved lubricants and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair saws, slicers, grinders, mixers, conveyors, packaging equipment, vacuum sealers, scales, labelers, printers, and metal detectors.
• Perform intermediate-level electrical work involving motors, sensors, switches, and control wiring.
• Conduct equipment alignments, adjustments, and rebuilds as needed.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
• Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform maintenance work during both production and sanitation shifts as needed.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, fall protection, and chemical handling requirements.
