Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.DutiesPreventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on all production machinery, including mixers, filling machines, packaging equipment, and conveyors. Follow and complete reports on equipment condition and inspection findings.Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in machinery and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.Root Cause Analysis: Trace problems to their root cause and implement solutions to resolve issues more permanently. Work with engineering and fabrication to implement long-term solutions for common problems.Process Improvement: Work with production, engineering, and fabrication to develop improvements to the efficiency of the production lines and increase uptime.Repairs: Execute both planned and unplanned repairs, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to restore equipment functionality.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, andequipment performance. Ensure all work is documented in compliance with regulatoryrequirements. Use CMMS to track and log work, manage parts used, etc.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on machinery.
