Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Auburn, WA to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. The role includes supervising contractors, coordinating service contracts, and supporting safety and Lean initiatives.

The position is safety sensitive and may require pre-employment drug testing. Shift is 4am–4:30pm (Fri-Sun) with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn and grow in technical areas.
• 1-2 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment.
• College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and related problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules and perform routine maintenance on all machinery/equipment.
• Perform facility/building maintenance and minor repairs and keep work area clean and safe.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install repaired units.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
